ABOUT ME

AT A GLANCE

Being part of a family that has been involved in motor sport for over 35 years gave Josh a love of motorsport from an early age.

In 2004 the art of drifting caught his eye and after attending a few local events as a spectator, he entered a practice day to see what it was like behind the wheel. Little did he know that 5 years later, Josh would be battling with the current Australian Champion for first place in the biggest drifting series in Australia, Raceline’s “2009 Pro Tour Drift Series”.

Unfortunately Josh finished second by a mere one point that season. After being so close to taking the title in his rookie year in the Pro Tour series, he was determined to go one better and win the championship in 2010. With a new car, the Nissan S15, Josh was even more confident of a successful year.

After setting up the car to be one of the quickest cars in the field, Josh enjoyed great success throughout the season. It all came together in 2010, with Josh winning the Raceline Australian Stadium Drift Pro Tour Drift Series, claiming three wins and two second places out of the six rounds in the series.

From humble beginnings and with an amazing support team, Josh will be taking it to the next level in 2011, going once again for the Stadium Drift Pro Tour, but also heading to Singapore to compete in the Formula Drift Asia round in June!
